Section A

Terms of Use, Disclaimers & Conditions of Engagement

1. Acceptance & Scope

By accessing the Site or engaging with NEUROS or MELD in any way, including websites, emails, messaging, courses, memberships, coaching, consulting, trainings, retreats, workshops, events, or other online or offline communications, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cookies & Tracking Policy, and any service-specific terms, collectively the “Agreement.” If you do not agree, do not use our Site or services.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use the Site or participate in offerings. You are responsible for compliance with your local laws.

3. License & Acceptable Use

We grant a revocable, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Site for lawful, personal, or organizational evaluation. You will not: copy, scrape, or reverse engineer the Site; introduce malware or interfere with security; misrepresent identity; use content or brand without permission; or harass, abuse, or defame others.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, programs, designs, trademarks, text, images, audio, video, and course materials are owned by NEUROS/MELD or licensors and protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. No reproduction, distribution, public display, derivative use, or data mining is permitted without prior written consent. Limited, personal, non-commercial use is permitted solely for educational purposes.

5. Educational Purpose; No Guarantees

All offerings are educational and developmental. Outcomes are not guaranteed. You are solely responsible for how you interpret, evaluate, and apply information.

6. Medical & Psychological Disclaimer, Summary

NEUROS and MELD are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic providers. Nothing we provide is diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any condition. If you need professional help, you must seek a licensed provider. In crisis in the U.S., call or text 988. See the full Medical Disclaimer in Section H below.

7. Accuracy & Personal Responsibility

We strive for accurate, research-informed content but make no representation or warranty as to completeness, timeliness, or accuracy. You agree to investigate independently and use what is appropriate for you. You are solely responsible for your interpretation and use.

8. Assumption of Risk & Release

Experiential and group work can trigger physical, emotional, and psychological responses. By participating in any NEUROS/MELD activity, including courses, coaching, retreats, or events, you assume all known and unknown risks and release and discharge NEUROS, MELD, facilitators, officers, employees, and agents from claims arising from participation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Participant Responsibility; Non-Therapeutic Relationship

You are responsible for your boundaries and well-being. Unless expressly agreed in writing, the relationship with facilitators or coaches is not therapist-client, physician-patient, or fiduciary. No HIPAA or clinical confidentiality applies.

10. Group Confidentiality & Conduct

We encourage confidentiality but cannot guarantee others’ conduct. You agree to respect others, refrain from harassment or abuse, and hold NEUROS/MELD and participants harmless for disclosures or actions by other participants. We may remove violators without refund.

11. Third-Party Tools & Links

We use reputable processors and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for external content, security, or privacy practices. Use at your own risk.

12. Testimonials & Media

Testimonials reflect individual experiences and do not guarantee results. Participation may include recording or photography. You grant NEUROS/MELD a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your image, voice, or testimonial for educational and promotional purposes in any media. You may withdraw future consent in writing; prior uses remain valid.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site, content, and services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NEUROS/MELD and their affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data, goodwill, emotional distress, or service interruption. Our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of $100 or the fees you paid to NEUROS in the prior six months.

15. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NEUROS/MELD and affiliates against claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and fees, including attorneys’ fees, arising from your use, your content, your violation of this Agreement or applicable laws, or your interactions with others.

16. Non-Disparagement

You agree not to publicly disparage or defame NEUROS/MELD or their representatives. This does not bar lawful complaints to regulators or truthful statements compelled by law.

17. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to causes beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, pandemics, sanctions, power or network failures, or labor issues.

18. Dispute Resolution; Governing Law

Governing law: California. Venue: state or federal courts in Nevada County, California. Before filing, parties will attempt good-faith resolution for 30 days. If unresolved, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Nevada County, CA under AAA Consumer Rules. No class actions; jury trial waived. Equitable relief for intellectual property or confidentiality matters may be sought in court.

19. Modifications; Severability; Entire Agreement

We may update this Agreement at any time. The updated Effective Date controls. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains effective. This Agreement, including referenced policies and service-specific terms, is the entire agreement between you and NEUROS.

Section B

Privacy Policy

1. Scope & Who We Are

NEUROS, a subsidiary of MELD Community, Inc., a Delaware corporation, processes personal data consistent with CalOPPA and CCPA/CPRA, and honors GDPR-style rights for EEA/UK visitors where feasible.

2. Information We Collect

  • Identifiers & Contact: name, email, phone, address, account details
  • Commercial & Program Data: registrations, purchases, event attendance, communications, feedback
  • Payment: processed by PCI-compliant providers, such as Stripe or PayPal. We do not store full card numbers
  • Usage & Device: IP address, device/browser, pages viewed, timestamps, approximate location, cookies/SDKs
  • User Content: comments, testimonials, submissions, support requests
  • Sensitive PI, minimized: only if you voluntarily provide it, for example dietary restrictions for retreats, to deliver requested services

3. How We Use Data

  • Provide programs, events, coaching, memberships, and support
  • Authenticate, secure, detect, and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Improve Site, content, and user experience; analytics and troubleshooting
  • Send transactional messages; with consent or as permitted, marketing communications, with opt-out available anytime
  • Comply with law; enforce terms; protect rights and safety
  • AI Assistance, disclosed: we may use vetted AI tools to assist planning, content, or support. We minimize transfer of personal data and use processors under confidentiality terms. These tools do not replace professional judgment.

4. Sharing & “Selling/Sharing” under CPRA

We do not sell personal data. We may “share” personal information for CPRA cross-context behavioral advertising via cookies/SDKs. See Cookies Policy; opt-out below. Disclosures:

  • Processors/Service Providers: hosting, email/SMS, payment, analytics, scheduling, helpdesk, security, under written contracts
  • Legal/Compliance: when required by law or to protect safety or rights
  • Business Transfers: merger, acquisition, or financing, with successors bound to this Policy

5. Your Choices & Rights

  • Email Opt-Out: unsubscribe links in any marketing email, or email neuros@meld.community
  • California, CCPA/CPRA: right to know/access, delete, correct, portability; Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information; Limit Use/Disclosure of Sensitive PI; non-discrimination for exercising rights
  • EEA/UK, where feasible: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection; lodge complaints with your supervisory authority

Submit requests to neuros@meld.community. Verification may be required.

6. Retention & Security

We retain data only as long as needed for services, legal purposes, or legitimate interests, then delete or de-identify. Safeguards include TLS encryption, access controls, and least-privilege principles. No method is 100% secure.

7. Children

Services are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Contact us if you believe a minor has provided data.

8. International Transfers

Data may be processed in the U.S. and other locations under appropriate safeguards.

Section C

Cookies & Tracking Policy

1. Categories We Use

  • Strictly Necessary: login, security, load balancing. Cannot be disabled.
  • Functional: preferences, media playback
  • Performance/Analytics: usage metrics, errors, improvements
  • Advertising/Targeting, optional: retargeting and cross-context ads, only where consented or permitted

2. Your Controls

  • Manage categories via our Cookie Settings banner
  • Use browser or device settings to clear or limit cookies
  • Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, CPRA: toggle off Advertising/Targeting in Cookie Settings
  • We do not use Sensitive PI for advertising

3. Third-Party Providers

We may use analytics, measurement, and advertising providers that set their own cookies or SDKs. A current list is available via our Consent Manager. Deleting cookies may remove opt-outs; revisit settings as needed.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Coaching & Group Programs

2. Retreats & Special Events

Event-specific terms on the registration page control. Deposits are non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise.

3. Digital Products & Downloads

Non-refundable once delivered or access granted.

4. How to Request

Email neuros@meld.community with your order details. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Accessibility Statement

We strive to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards where feasible. If you encounter barriers accessing any content on this site, email neuros@meld.community and we will provide alternatives or work toward remediation.

Section F

Security Practices

  • TLS/SSL encryption in transit; hardened hosting environments; access controls and least-privilege
  • PCI-compliant payment processors; we do not store full card data
  • Routine patching and vulnerability management

No method is 100% secure. By using our services you accept this inherent risk.

Section G

DMCA Policy

1. Notice of Claimed Infringement

Email neuros@meld.community with the following, per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  3. URL(s) of the infringing material
  4. Your contact information
  5. A statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act

2. Counter-Notice

Per 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3), send: your signature; identification of removed content and its original location; a good-faith belief statement that removal was a mistake; your contact information; consent to jurisdiction; and acceptance of service of process.

3. Repeat Infringers

Accounts or content of repeat infringers may be terminated or removed. We may forward claim details to the alleged infringer.

Medical & Psychological Disclaimer

NEUROS and MELD are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic providers. Nothing on this site or in any NEUROS program constitutes diagnosis, treatment, therapy, or prevention of any physical, mental, or emotional condition.

1. No Professional Advice

Site and program information is not medical or psychological advice and should not be treated as such. Do not rely on it as an alternative to advice from a licensed provider.

2. Seek Professional Help When Needed

If you think you may have a medical or psychological condition, seek immediate attention from a qualified professional. In a mental health crisis in the U.S., call or text 988.

3. Non-Therapeutic Scope

NEUROS engagements are educational and organizational development in nature. Participation does not create a clinical relationship. When deeper clinical issues arise in the course of an engagement, we coordinate appropriate referrals and remain within an organizational-development scope.

4. No Warranties; Limitation

We make no representations that any information is complete, accurate, current, or suitable for any particular purpose. You agree not to hold NEUROS/MELD liable for damages arising from reliance on site or program information.

1. Blog Comments

We welcome constructive comments. We may edit or remove comments for spam, promotion, vulgarity, harassment, doxxing, or off-topic abuse, without notice. This policy may be updated at any time.

2. External Links

We link to resources we believe are helpful. We do not control or endorse third-party content and may remove links at any time. Inclusion is evaluated for relevance, quality, usability, and accessibility.

3. Social Media

For our social media presence, we comply with applicable platform policies. We do not sell your social data. You may request deletion of your data associated with our pages by emailing neuros@meld.community. Users under 13 are not permitted to engage with our accounts.

4. FTC & Affiliate Disclosures

Some links on this site may be affiliate links. If you click and purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not affect our editorial integrity. As an Amazon Associate, where applicable, we earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc.

5. Anti-Spam

We prohibit unsolicited bulk email. Our systems filter inbound spam; false positives can occur. If you receive unwanted messages from us, contact neuros@meld.community.

6. Confidentiality, B2B

We can provide a short-form mutual non-disclosure agreement, Delaware or California law, for B2B or partner discussions on request. Email neuros@meld.community.
